Maharashtra already faces a shortage of about 5 to 6 million tonnes of cement per year, which needs to be transported from the neighbouring states. with future demand growth this shortfall will widen further.

Lime stone, Coal availability in Chandrapur
Availability of key raw materials and fuel for the cement project is a major advantage. MIL has been awarded minig license for both lime stone and coal.
